Eric and I met while serving in the Army National Guard together. We quickly became friends spending nearly all of our down time chatting and getting to know each other better. It was clear from the beginning that we were both attracted to one another.
What sealed the deal for me was when I was able to talk him into bringing the boys to our unit's Christmas party. I knew as soon as I met the boys and saw him with them that I wanted to be a part of that family. It did not take long after that for our friendship to turn to romance. Sometimes life has a way of making things happen for two people that no one plans. I moved in with Eric to start a new chapter in my life but it was clear before nearly any time had passed that being with him was where I belonged. Eric, Isaac, Ethan, and I have been together ever since.
Everyday we have grown closer as a couple and as a family. I consider myself very blessed that before too long I will be able to celebrate with my loved ones not only the union between Eric and I but also the completion of our family. |
