Sammie and I met at Oshmans back in 2000-2001. I was working there part-time while going to SHSU. Sammie had just moved back from Austin after working in construction. However, we didn't get together right away. We would go to lunch and hang out with some of our other co-workers. But at that time we thought it best to just remain friends (until several years later of course). I then graduated and moved away and Sammie and I lost touch. Several years passed until the Fall of 2005. I had wanted to buy something from Sports Authority, so I called the store I used to work at to see if they had what I was looking for and surprisingly enough Sammie answers the phone.... And the rest is history.

Well, as many of you know Sammies' timing isn't always on perfect. But he always said that when he does something he wants to make sure and do it like no other person would. That was exactly what he did. I had just come home from one of my dearest and favorite patient's funeral (and was obviously pretty distracted and upset). I was looking in the refrigerator trying to fix me something to eat and when I turn around there he was on one knee. So there you go, a little different but then again, that's Sammie.

For those of you that haven't heard the our wedding is June 12, 2010 at 6:30 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at El San Juan Hotel and Casino.

The reception with also be in El San Juan Hotel and Casino following the ceremony.

Hi everyone, it looks like the day is creeping up on us ever so quickly. I hope that you are all as excited as Sammie & I are. We hope & pray that you can all join us on this very special occasion.
