Our Story

Long story short... there was a crush in Highschool...(BIG CRUSH)... but neither of us ever made a move. Eight years later we hit it off at Mike and Leslie's Wedding when we were in the wedding party together but Jay was still living in North Carolina at the time so it felt like it was wishful thinking. A few months went by and we could not stop thinking about each other. Out of the blue, Jay called and said he was coming up from North Carolina for a date. Ever since that date, we were inseperable. We talked on the phone every night and flew back and forth to see each other for a few months. We both knew that this was it almost right away. Jay decided to move back to C.T. from N.C. and our relationship has grown into something very rare and beautiful ever since. We got engaged at Mike and Leslie's house on July 17th 2009. We can't wait to be Mr. and Mrs. O'Leary!

Our Wedding

The ceremony will be held at St. Patricks Church in Farmington CT.
The cocktail hour, and reception will be held at the Avon Old Farms Hotel on September 18th, 2010 at 4:30 PM
The hotel is also offering extended hours in the bar area for late goers as well as reduced rates on rooms to accommodate those who would like to stay the night with us.

Our Reception

We are going to be adding little tid bits of Irish Tradition into our wedding. Bet you didn't know that green was bad luck at an Irish wedding! The traditional Irish wedding colors are blue which will be the color of our wedding. There will be a horseshoe in the bridal bouquet for good luck, an irish piper and more!

Travel Arrangements

We are leaving on our honeymoon on September 21, 2010. We are going to St. Lucia!
