We’ve known each other for several years since Scott’s move to Barrow, AK in 1991. Over the course of the years, we gained an interest in each other and began to spend more time together. Our love for each other was well on its endless path. We never again wanted to be apart.
We’ve been through thick and thin and have not once left each other’s side. We’ve learned from our obstacles enabling us to be stronger and to grow with one another. We know we’re not perfect and have accepted each other for who we are. We confide in each other, and we both have a huge respect for one another. We laugh together and we cry together. We are best friends.
We’ve talked about marriage, and the real surprise came when Nicole walked off the airplane in Springfield, MO in August. Briana and I were waiting anxiously outside of security. As Nicole walked out, Briana held up the large sign she made that read, “SAY YES!” Nicole’s astonished face quickly filled with tears of joy, and I became the happiest man alive when she said yes. Others outside of security cheered and clapped as we hugged and kissed. This was one of the happiest moments in our lives.

We desired a simple wedding and met our wish in Key West. We've chosen a sunset sail aboard the Sebago catamaran. Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place on board. We ask that you please meet at the Sebago boarding dock on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 4:00pm:
200 William Street
Key West, Florida 33040
*Friendly Reminder: Dress is informal.
Please e-mail any questions to smevans25@hotmail.com.

Our reception will be on board immediately following the ceremony. Light menu includes a Mediterranean antipasto platter, Key West pink peel & eat shrimp, and conch fritters. Drinks will be provided to include draft beer, premium wine, champagne, sangria, and soft drinks. Entertainment will be provided by a steel drummer.

We will be staying in a house on Islamorada (which is at the 89th mile marker from Key West) until January 1st. That's when we make our move down to Key West. If you haven't yet found a place to stay, craigslist.org and vrbo.com were very helpful in our search.
Additionally, our wedding planner has a significant amount of information (hotels, transportation, restaurants, things to do) posted on her web-site: gettingmarriedinkeywest.com
She's also provided us with a local reservation service, Vacation Key West. They can offer a variety of choices depending on taste and budget.

We are so excited to be able to share our special day with you! We are very much honored to receive your blessings in addition to the tremendous amount of support that you have provided us. Your love, kind words, and toasts are a meaningful part of our celebration. We truly appreciate you being a part of our lives. Thank you!
Since we are already living together and have everything we need in our household, we decided on a honeymoon registry. With both of us being college students and parents of a college student, we're on an extremely limited budget. The honeymoon registry makes it possible for us create lifetime memories that we'll be able to cherish forever. Much love, Nicole & Scott.
