We have a casual/"Hawaiian"/Tropical theme
Our reception will immediately follow our exchange of vows and will last until 10pm. It will be a casual, comfortable, FUN affair!
Our beautiful tropical flower arrangements come from Michael Corrado at Devers Designs in Alexandria, Virginia. Our menu, compliments of Chef Shane of the "Caroline Street Cafe", will include various stations including a “Philly Cheese Steak”w/soft pretzels, pasta (s), salad(s) w/stuffed portabella mushrooms, “Low Country Boil” w/fried green tomatoes, corn bread, and collard greens, Kid’s cuisine(s), and a place to make your own ice cream sundaes! Lemonade, sweet and unsweetened tea, beer and wine will be served. (Please do NOT bring any liquor to our venue. They will fine us $1000 for any offense!)

Our area has a lot to offer. These hotels are about 12 miles North of Richmond (our capital), 22 miles South of Paramount’s King’s Dominion (amusement park), 63 miles West of Historic Williamsburg and Busch Gardens (amusement park), 105 miles South of Washington DC , and 120 miles West of Virginia Beach.
We are so excited about our special day and hope that you will all be able to join us!
As our invitation stated, we respectfully ask that you do not bring any wrapped gifts to our wedding. We have been together for many years and have dreamed of a time that we could go away together...alone. We have planned a "DREAM" Honeymoon and would greatly appreciate any monitary help that you can provide to help make this dream a reality.
