I never thought nine months ago at that little softball game in Phoenix I'd meet my future husband. As Eric sat across the table from me in the after-game celebration, he made me feel like the most special person in the room.
It may have taken me longer to know I would marry him, but not for Eric. When we happened to meet again at friends get together he boldly told me, "I'm going to catch you, Courtney. You're mine."
I have never known a man more capable of love. His joy and energy is contagious and I love that he sees great things in every person he comes across. Yet, even more than his love for others, or for me, is His love for our God. We are determined to have the best marriage possible; to become so close, tied together with shared memories, events and beliefs that it would be thought impossible to ever seperate.

Courtney is right. I knew only after 48 hours that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She is fun-loving and silly. I love how excited she gets when she is telling me her favorite verses in the Bible or how she has to highlight the screen with the cursor when reading a page online. All the big and small things. All the good and "bad", our love is strong because it covers all.
One of my favorite memories was just before we started dating: I drove to Starbucks, using my caffiene addiction as an excuse to see her again. Courtney was just getting off her shift so I offered to walk her to her car.
"No", she replied, "I live across the street."
But I didn't hear her. Half way down the street and crossing the crosswalk I was sort of confused.
"Where are we going?", I asked.
"I live right there.", as she pointed.
"Ohhhhhh.", I said.
I was too embarrassed to turn around, so to her front door we went. She will tell you that those 3 minutes were mutually awkward. We laughed and said goodbye. Courtney had to say, "Bye, you", because she didn't even remember my name. Funny little story, but it was what broke the ice, and I believe made the rest of our friendship so easy. She has now become my closest and best friend. I love her with all my heart and hope only to be able to spend the rest of my life caring for her.

Below you can find our Gift Registry.
We have almost all the usual neccesities people buy for weddings, so we were looking for a practical, and much needed alternative. We are taking 14 days and traveling to San Francisco. We will be flying over, staying in the city for most of the time except for 3 days when we will go up to Napa Valley. It will be quite a treat for the both of us.
Most of our accomadations are free, thanks to my amazing and supportive parents who gave us their timeshare, but we still have the flight there and all the other little trimmings.
Most of all we want you guys to know how happy we are to be getting married. Even if it was camping out in Arizona, it really is about the marriage. We are so excited to have you all there to witness our important day. Your presence is enough, and please feel no preasure to give past that. We know that God has it all planned better than we could and has BLESSED it.
Anyone still interested in our tangible needs, we do have a small registry set up at Target.
Use either of our names Courtney Figgins/Eric Larson.
Going to give a card? Save an envelope and use the book you received as an invitation as the envelope. (And that is only if you haven't become fond of it yourself!) We would love to have some gifted back for our keepsakes.
