Becky Cordell & Troy Freeborn

Our Story

We met almost two years ago at a mutual friends birthday party. We developed a friendship that led to something much more. Neither of us expected to fall in love, or to spend the rest of our lives together. Now we can’t wait to take that step and to be legally Mr. and Mrs. Freeborn. Becky has come to be my best friend, she understands me and doesn’t try to change me. She loves me for me, not what she thinks I could be, or what she thinks I can do. I have Becky to thank for helping me find my faith again, and I think along the way I have help her regain some of hers. We both have been married before but this time we both have a better understanding of what a marriage should be, and what God expects from us. We are not getting married because we have too, we are getting married because we want to be married to entrust our lives to each other.
As Troy said, we met at a friend’s birthday party. We didn’t talk at all that night. We became friends on Myspace. A short time later we ran into each other again. Developed a friendship. Neither of us were looking for what God had placed in front of us. It took some time to realize what was happening. We both were certain we would never marry again. Time changes all things. And it certainly changed our minds and our hearts. Troy has become my very best friend. I have placed my heart in his hands. He has accepted me as I am, all my flaws and imperfections. He truly loves me unconditionally. I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together as husband and wife. What God unites together, let no man separate. I love you Troy!
