Our Story

Troy and I first became friends in 2004. We spent two years off and on talking on lunch breaks and trying to find times to hang out together. We lost touch for a little while and in 2006, we bumped into each other at a bowling alley. We've been together almost every day ever since.

Our Wedding

The wedding is taking place in Gearhart, Oregon at the McMenamin's Sand Trap. Ceremony starts at 1pm, but guests are welcome to start arriving at 12:30. It's not super formal, so no top hats :) Although you're more than welcome to wear a pair of slacks.

Troy and I decided on the location as we spend a lot of time on and around beaches. We ride quads quite a bit and just about every time we want to go out of town, it's always towards the ocean. The wind can be pretty unforgiving right on the beach, which is why we will getting married about a block away.

Our Reception

Since most of our guests will technically be from out of town, we're keeping it simple by having the reception at the same location. A late lunch, some great music and lots of sweets :)

Be ready to dance!

We'll be welcoming guests to join us after the reception on the beach for a bonfire.

Seaside is about three miles south of Gearhart and a straight stretch minus one left hand turn to the venue. There are many other locations in Seaside to choose from and plenty of places to stay if you'd like somewhere to hook up your RV.
