We were introduced to each other through mutual friends in March 2008. Our meeting was accidental, but at the same time it was destiny. As the summer of 2008 approached, we fell in love with each other, and have been inseparable ever since.
One common similarity between us occurs every October. Cynthia's birthday is on October 28th, and Jeff's birthday is on October 29th. Having birthday's one day apart, we decided to have a tropical birthday vacation getaway in Cancun Mexico on October 31, 2009. On the evening of Halloween, we had a beautiful moonlit dinner on the beach, and took a walk on the beach afterward. While holding hands walking on the sand under a full moon, Jeff told Cynthia how in love he is, and that he wanted to spend the rest his life with her. Jeff got down on one knee, opened up a little box with a sparkly diamond that reflected in the moonlight. Jeff asked Cynthia if she would marry him. This was the beginning moment of the rest of our lives.
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be at Pacific Edge Villa in Laguna Beach California. The address is 627 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Sleepy Hollow is a small street off of Pacific Coast Hwy.
This is an outdoor beach front wedding that will begin at 5:00 PM, but please arrive at 4:30PM to be seated. Valet Parking is free, and is mandatory due to the location of this area. The reception dinner will be outdoors, so please make sure to bring a warm sweater in case we get a cool ocean breeze. Due to the small venue, we ask that there be no children please. Please be considerate and do not invite uninvited friends and guests.
Our reception will be held at the same location as the ceremony. There will be an intermission time where appetizers and drinks will be served.
Pacific Edge Villa is part of Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach. If you plan on making a reservation, please do so as soon as possible, as our wedding falls under Labor Day weekend.
The Pacific Edge hotel is on a beautiful beach, so enjoy the opportunity to relax. If this hotel is too expensive, you may want to try the Doubletree Irvine Spectrum hotel. The information is as follows:
