Our Story
After 12 years....we decided to make the commitment of a lifetime.
We've done it all backwards...but along the untraditional road, we've come to realize that we simply could not spend a day apart and chose to spend our lives together.
Our Wedding
Everything is set! Venues, hotels and the cake of all cakes has been paid for :) There's no turning back! lol
David proposed about 5 years ago in Vegas...and we thought, why not?! We wanted a fun destination wedding that wasn't too far from our hometown, San Francisco.
Per your invitations, please meet at The Beach Level Valet at The Mandalay Bay. There you will be escorted to The Valley of the Falls ceremony by our Mandalay Bay Wedding Consultant and you will receive a program with a detailed list of events for our special day.
Our wedding colors are a very pretty deep purple and black. Please feel free to wear any shade of purple or black to take part in our theme.
Our Reception
Following the ceremony, our guests will be escorted to The RumJungle located at The Mandalay Hotel for the dinner and cocktail portion of the evening.
The mother of the bride will be sponsoring a one hour cocktail hour following the ceremony in the VIP lounge of The RumJungle.
Travel Arrangements
Most of the wedding party will be arriving Thursday, August 12. We have found great deals on Southwest Vacations.com, Virgin America Airlines and US Airways.
McCarran International Airport is the closest to the Las Vegas Strip.
Most of the wedding party will be staying at The Mandalay Bay Hotel where the wedding will take place. Please contact Angela (aycortez@gene.com) for a special booking rate.
The Luxor Hotel is also located right next door.

We are so excited for all of you that are able to share this special day with us! We are very grateful for your time and everything it takes to get you to Vegas!
