Our Story

How we met...
First meeting was June 2008 and it was love at first sight. Billy and Cassidy were beer pong partners at one of Billy's going away parties to Atlanta. Cassidy had the biggest crush on Billy and her heart was broken when she found out he was leaving next week . What is a girl to do? She was lonely and cried herself to sleep until her Prince Billy came back into her life on January 16th for her 22nd birthday celebration. They have been inseparable ever since....

Dating...
When we were dating we enjoyed hanging out with our friends, families, laughing, going out to dinner, working out, hiking, starting to LOVE each other (Cassidy said it first) and just doing nothing as long as we were together!!

The engagement...
Our plans for the evening were to hang out with our friends Dave and Allison with some take-out food and board games! FUN!! I was sitting on the coach, waiting for Billy (he is 30 minutes late) to come get me for game night...I was getting upset watching Friends and cartoons all by myself ~ poor me! I then get a text, "Get Ready! There will be a limo there to pick you up in one hour! Limo drivers name is Roland! See you soon!" (Inside Cassidy's head: What the HAY is going on? WHAT?) I get ready and try texting Billy and he wont respond to anything I am asking. Limo comes and there is NO BILLY!! (Cassidy's head" WHAT the HAY is going on here...Holy Moly is tonight THE night?) The limo is taking its sweet time (it felt like hours) and we finally pull up to our first date spot SASSI. (Cassidy's head: OMG is he really doing this?) I walk up and Billy is sitting at a table wih candles, rose pedals and champagne. We start sipping on the champagne and Billy is being very goofy... He asks me to take a walk with him and I, OF COURSE, jump up and say yes! We walk to the ceremony site at SASSI (they hold weddings) and Billy says, "This is the first place I took you as my girlfriend and I want this to be the last." I started to cry as he got on one knee and kept saying wonderful things abot our past, future and present time together! He asked me to marry him and I said, "YES!!" We had an amazing dinner and then celebration with our close friends!
