Erik and I were fortunate enough to share a common friend, Brandon. He suggested that we correspond via the internet and email. After lengthy correspondence, I invited Erik to see a movie with me. The rest is history! We went to Alaska in June 2005 for our first vacation together. Much to my complete surprise, Erik had conspired with friends and family to buy the ring before we left. He proposed on an Alaskan beach, with volcanos all around, under a 10:15 PM Alaskan sun.

We wanted our wedding to encompass all that we love about Maine coast. The atmosphere will be a casual brunch under a big white tent along a quiet cove. Dress is casual, as we want you to enjoy walking along the rocky shore, playing all-terrain croquet, and enjoying summer! The ceremony starts at 11:30am on June 24, 2006. You will be seated among a cluster of apple trees, with wonderful views beyond!

The reception will immediately follow the ceremony. We have a variety of brunch items from which to choose, and wine, beer, and soda will be available. You are welcome to bring a favorite dish, it's a family production.

The nearest airport is Portland International Jetport, about 1.5 hour drive to the wedding location in South Bristol. There are a variety of accommodations in the area. Make a small getaway out of your trip and you won't be disappointed! The area is a short drive to beautiful Camden, outlet shopping in Freeport (home of LL Bean), and wonderful rolling countryside.
