Almost three years ago, I stood chatting with my friends in a club when this beautiful woman behind me kicked me in the foot. We talked and we danced all night long. We grew closer as time passed and finally I knew she was the one. I went to the store and bought 14 twin bed sheets, 1 gallon of white paint and a paint brush. I called her best friend and she was able to sew all of those sheets together. It measured almost 40 yards. Then my roommate and I went outside and painted on the sheets in 5 foot letters, “TINA, WILL YOU MARRY ME?” I put the banner down on Wrightsville Beach in front of our hotel we were staying in. Then when she looked out of our 9th floor room window on Sunday, February 26th, my dream was about to come true. I got down on one knee and the rest is history.
We will tie the knot of eternity on September 30th, 2006 at 5:00 pm at Immanuel Free Will Baptist Church by Pastor Jim Turnbough. In front of God, family and friends, we will promise each other our love for the rest of our lives.

The reception will follow the ceremony from 6pm until 11 pm at the Wyndham Hotel in RTP. Please come and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, specialty stations, and a variety of drinks and beverages. Celebrate our night with music, dancing and great company.

We chose a honeymoon registry because we both wanted a dream honeymoon in Bora Bora. It is said to be the most romantic island in the world.
