Our Story
We met on May 4, 2009 in Allen, TX. After blowing off my homework, a friend and I went to the store in hopes of finding something to wear out on the town that night. Well, I found more than I bargained for! On our way back to my house, while sitting at the stoplight at the police station in Allen, I looked to my right and noticed a very cute boy checking me out. Always the outgoing one, I rolled down the window and so did he. We started talking and when the light changed we talked to each other until the light at Greenville and Main. He threw his phone in the car and I put my number in it and threw it back. He sped off and I laughed and thought I would never hear from him. He called only 2 hours later! And after that we spent the next week and a half together until he went back to Iraq since he was only home on leave. When he came back in September, we fell in love :)
He asked me to marry him on May 23, 2010 at Lake Lavon, the place he took me a year earlier and it was there I knew I wanted to marry him. He put the ring on an old tree branch, which I yelled at him for putting such a gross piece of wood on our blanket, and then he pointed at it. It took me a minute to see what he was pointing at but when I did, I smiled at him and he told me to get it. When I turned around he was down on one knee and he asked me to marry him. I said yes and he put the ring on my finger!
We are so looking forward to this day and so excited that our first baby girl, Paizley Adair, will be there to celebrate with us! We are so blessed to have a beautiful home in McKinney together, a little girl on her way to us, and our precious baby angel LuLu.
Our Wedding
We are getting married in St Mary Church in Allen, TX, which is where Devin and I are from. Growing up, I also loved the church and told my mom that I wanted to get married there. The chapel is very small and only seats 75 so the ceremony will be only family. The wedding starts at 3pm sharp. No one will be seated past 2:50pm. The wedding attire is Semi-Formal.
Travis Boyle, the groom’s brother, is the Best Man. Kayly Speed, the bride’s best friend, is the Maid of Honor. Emily Young, the bride’s sister, is the bridesmaid and the attendant of the flower girl, the bride and groom’s daughter, Paizley Adaire. Joseph Young and Talbot Young are the ushers. Kirk Krasovec, the Maid of Honor’s uncle, will be marrying the couple.
The address of the church is:
402 E. St Mary
Allen, TX 75002
Our Reception
As a little girl, I watched “The Father of the Bride” every night before bed. I always dreamed I would have my reception at my parent’s home just like Annie Banks. Luckily, my parents agreed with this idea. They have been so patient as I have been clearing out EVERYTHING from the entire downstairs to create a reception space! The reception is from 6pm until 9 pm. There will be food, music, dancing, and of course, cake!

Travel Arrangements
Devin and I will be going to Downtown Dallas after the reception for two days. We are planning our honeymoon for Spring 2011.
