Our Wedding

Our Wedding, October 2nd 2010 will be held at Willow Pond Island at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. The gardens are located on Dixboro road in Ann Arbor. The ceremony begins at 5pm.


Late arrivals will not be seated due to the set-up on the island.

Please realize that this is an outdoor location and unless there is a good amount of rain or cold, will remain an outdoor ceremony. Please dress accordingly. In the case of heavy rain we will be in the Atrium, which has a greenhouse atmosphere and is thus warm and humid.

More details will come as we near the day, and have more accurate weather information.

Our Reception

The reception follows the ceremony, beginning at 6pm at Burton Manor in Livonia. Burton Manor is on Schoolcraft road, off of 96 between Middle belt and Inkster Roads.

If traveling from the ceremony to Burton Manor (check back for exact directions)....plan on a simple 20-30 minute drive.

Dinner will be served at 7 pm. Light appetizers will be available between six and seven. The bar will open at six. Dinner at the reception is a portion of both filet and chicken breast. Please make any allergies or extreme diet needs known to Corrine Immediately. We will do what we can, but can make no promises.

We have an amazing DJ and are very much looking forward to celebrating with you!!

There are numerous close (cheap) metro Detroit hotels for overnight stays. (Middlebelt rd. in Livonia for one) PLEASE do not drive intoxicated. I hate that, and it makes you an idiot. There is also a block of rooms set aside at the Embassy Suites (friday and saturday) for out of town guests. Rooms must be reserved in advanced or will be released back to the public. We have limited reservations, first come, first serve. Please let Corrine know if you are interested in a room here.
