Our Story

Hi, thanks for stopping by our wedding website. Well, my name is Chelley Lackey and I was born and raised in Alaska then moved to Arizona after my first year of high school. 6 years ago, I met an Arizona native, Bret Stockton. We met at a bar, and are proving the saying that if you meet at a bar it won't last well, that was 6 years ago and we are going strong and finally ready to make this official. I know for myself I am marrying my best friend and that is why it's taken us 6 + years to get married. We wanted to go slow and make sure our friendship was strong and true before we moved to the next level of dating and now we are taking the next step and getting married. I can't wait! Our families are similar, Bret has a younger brother and I have a younger sister. Our parents have been together forever and we don't forsee them divorcing anytime soon. : ) YEAH! So, we both have the same knowledge for family values and commitment.

We were engaged on Christmas day 2009. It was a very unusual engagement and pretty funny. Nonetheless, I said yes but I had some rules. I wanted a cool/unusual date and said that I had to be married when I was 35. Well, my birthday is 12/16 so I had just turned 35 in 2009 and Bret came up with the date 12/11/10. Hmmmmm, he's just sneaking by with me wanting to be married by 35. I can't wait. I hope you'll be there to celebrate with us.

Our Wedding

Our wedding will be held at the American Banquet Hall on 12/11/10 at 17:15. The reception will be in the same place following our brief ceremony. Can't wait to see you.

We have hotels near the reception hall that we can recommend. The address of the Banquet Hall is 2713 W. Northern Ave, Phoenix.

A Special Message From Us

Hi and thank you for visiting our site. We are so excited to be married. We just realized 12/11/10 is right around the corner. I hope that you all may join us for our wedding. We are already established in our home and don't need dishes, blenders, wine glasses or whatever the "normal" wedding registry stuff is. Yet, we would love to make new memories by travelling. I, Chelley have been around the world but Bret has only been to a hand full of states. We'd love to travel to Florida and wander and discover all they have to offer. We are looking to go for a week in the end of May or first week of June. I'd like to show Bret Orlando, and Miami. South Beach here we come! Thanks again for stopping by and thank you in advance.
