Our Story

Roy and I met in High school but as I thought he was a complete jerk (he and his buddies threw eggs at my head on freshman day),it would be many years later that we would actually MEET =).
We spent several weeks by each others sides and he got me through one of the worst situations of my life without ever asking anything from me. When all was finally resolved I had to move 200 miles away, Roy left his life behind and followed me.
He has stayed by my side ever since and supported me in all my foolish and quirky endeavors never judging or demeaning me, and man have I started some weird projects, and supporting me in everything I have done. He has been a Father to my son Quin, and given everything he has for the both of us. I have never known a better man.
During our 4 year relationship He brought up the idea of marriage several times only to be shot down by me, I don't have a very good track record with "permanent arrangements", and finally told me he would ask no more but would stay by my side as long as I would put up with him =) I thought about it for several months and after many nights soul searching and many more discussions with our friends I realized that I had to be crazy to take the chance of losing him... So I asked him =D
And as you can see (otherwise I wouldn't be setting up this silly web page) he said YES!!
... and everyone, now is the time to chime in with the "I told you so's"

Our Wedding

We are going to have 3 separate ceremonies but only one of them will be the Traditional Wedding. The other two will be held at TRF and Sherwood Faire most likely on the opening weekends of the 2011 seasons. They will be more of the Hand Fasting type ceremonies where you will be required to bring nothing but a candle and party favors, a typical Faire thing =) I hope that by having them Opening weekend we will get the majority of "The Family" there! Any who wish to attend are welcome as we wish to share our joining with the world and spread as much love as possible...

The Actual wedding will most likely be in early 2012, probably April since we want to do it outdoors and despise the Texas sun just as much as the rest of you=) Will post more on that as we iron out the kinks.
