Honeymoon Wishes

It all started when Emily went out to Dave Condon's house to play some beer pong with his college buddies. Chris was one of these friends at the house, and Emily immediately had a crush on him. That night Emily and Chris decided to be partners in beer pong and play against everyone at the party. We stayed up until 9 a.m the next morning playing against eachother. From that night on we continued to see eachother whenever we could and in January of 2005, we officially became a couple. :)

After Emily graduated from high school it was time to start applying to college. Chris's sister Becky went to Coastal Carolina University so we decided to take a road trip to see her. While there we took a tour of CCU and Emily fell in love with the campus. When we got back to Massachusetts, Emily applied to CCU and was accepted to pursue a Biology Degree. We packed up our things and started a new journey to South Carolina on our own.

We moved in with Becky at Flintlake Apartments in July of 2006 and loved living with each other. Emily had been talking of getting a puppy ever since we got to South Carolina. So in September of 2006 Chris brought home the first addition to the family, CoCo. Chris was helping our friend Craig move out of his townhome and Craig mentioned that his neighbor had puppies. Well about five minutes later Chris was riding home with CoCo on his lap. At the time Chris was working at TPC in Murrells Inlet, making less money than he did in sixth grade mowing lawns. Times for the two of us were tough when we first started out. There were many nights of eating chicken patties because that was all we could afford. But we always made the best out of everything and never got discouraged. Emily found a job at Kroger in October of 2006 to be a Pharmacy Technician the first step to doing what she always wanted to do in being a Pharmacist. Later that winter Chris got a job working for DHEC, things were starting to brighten up for us.

On October 23rd of 2009, Chris proposed to Emily at St. Andrews Hyannis Port Golf Course over looking Nantucket Sound. It was a chilly night, and the sun was just about to go down. Later that evening after telling all of our friends and family the good news, we went out to British Beer Company to celebrate. Wedding plans ever since this day have been constantly in motion. We are both anxious and extremely excited for our special day to get here! :)

We have been in South Carolina for four and a half years now, our golf game has improved greatly and we have made many friends along the way. Chris plays soccer with his friends almost every Saturday at Market Common. We currently live in Murrells Inlet in our townhome of Park West. We recently added another member to our family, his name is Ace. He is a crazy black and white cat who is constantly talking to us. Very hyper and loves to pick fights with CoCo.

We would like to thank all of our friends and family. Every experience we have had with you has helped mold us to who we are today. We love all of you and can't wait for you to be there for our wedding day!

First, we would like to thank all of our family and friends! All of you have had a special effect on our relationship in one way or another. We would not be where we are or what we are today without all of you!

While we know some of you won't be able to make it down to South Carolina for our wedding, we hope you understand it is being held down here strictly so we can offer our guests exactly what we want...A laid back, fun, relaxing, enjoyable celebration. We will miss you if you can't be there and for those of you that will be making it, we hope you enjoy yourselves!

We decided a long time ago that it was extremely important to both of us, that we see/experience the world for what it has to offer. The reminder of this desire was the Alaska to South Carolina roadtrip we took in July of 2008!

When Chris' brother Matt was heading back to the northeast after serving in the Army, he was looking for some company on his trek from Anchorage, AK back to Massachusetts. It turned out to be the most influential trip either one of us has ever taken. Seeing the natural beauty of Alaska, the emptiness of the Yukon Territory, the wildlife and scenery of the Canadian Rockies, the out of this world nature of Yellowstone National Park and the awesome views of the Grand Canyon all had a major impact on our core values. To this day we still reminice about the trip and how amazing the whole experience was.

So with that said...

We will be embarking on an 18 day tour of Europe, visiting 8 different countries and 7 world heritage sites. Our trip is through Contiki Tours, which is a tour service company for 18-35 year olds. We will be traveling with a group of people from all around the world. Most of the traveling will be by coach with the occasional ferry ride.
