How we met

Haha. We meet nearly four years ago at a 80's club (BANG!) in L.A.

We were both out with our friends and we kept following each other around the club. We got to talking and found out that we are both from Orange County. We went on dates: surfing, disneyland and dancing (of course). Nearly a year later I asked Tyler to be my boyfriend.... he said, "Yes!"


How we got engaged

A little background to the story. We practically live at Disneyland. I love the jewelry store on main street and every trip we make, I drag Tyler in there. I love the rings and all of the Alice in wonderland jewelry!

We are all at Disneyland (Myself, Tyler, Ashley, Ian, Marlee, Madi, Mallo, Mikey, and Paul) We are in line for splash mountain and Paul and Mikey are talking about how they are going to meet up with some friends then meet with us over at California Adventure for some dancing at Glow Fest! The rest of us go on jungle boat cruise. Then we decide its time to leave.

As we are walking down Main street, we are about to turn into the jewelry store and I stop and say, "We don’t have to go in this time, lets just go dance." Tyler doesn’t say anything; he just drags me into the store. I’m looking around; I stop and look at the ring display on the counter. The lady working asks, "Do you see anything you like?" Before I can really respond, she says, "did you see this one?", pointing at ring in slot #7, "It’s the last one we have," she says. She pulls the top off the case and pulls it out. It’s a beautiful rose colored gold ring; there are plumerias around the whole band, with yellow garnets in the middle. She hands the ring to Tyler and he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. I was speechless and was having a little stage fright. I say, "Of course." and then the tears came.
