About the bride
I was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Aloha, Oregon I never moved in my life and moving out with Pedro will be the first time on my own. I have 2 brothers. My family is very important to me. My father was born in Oregon as well. My mother was born in Washington. I attended Century High School and enjoyed hanging out with friends. I went on to Cambridge College and studied Medical Assisting. I am currently working in a group home for Autistic Adults and I love my job, I have wonderful co-workers and the best clients. Pedro took me to Mexico for the first time I had been out of the country I love traveling and we try to do it as much as possible. We enjoy LA and we love the Santa Monica Pier, we just got back from Disneyland and had a blast. We also traveled to San Diego. If you cant tell me love the outdoors, family and friends. I would have to say that July 4th in LaPine, Oregon with my family has got to be the best. And Mexico with his family is right up there next to it.
About the groom
I was born in Silverton, Oregon on July 2nd 1985 and grew up in Woodburn, Oregon until I was 15 when we moved to Sherwood, Oregon. I played football for Sherwood High School until 2003, I also was involved in track, and the Spanish club. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. My family is very important to me, My parents were both born in Mexico my dad is from Guadalajara, Mexico and my mom is from Mexico City, Mexico. Both Maria and I enjoy to go back and visit the town my dad is from. In 2008 - 2009 Holiday season was the first time I took Maria to Mexico to see what it is like. I am currently working for La-Z-Boy as well as doing private security. In my spare time I like to be outdoors and do anything that has to do with sports. In 2007 Maria taught me how to fish I enjoy going out to the river and lakes with Maria to fish.
How we met
Maria and Pedro met threw friends at a party on May 28th 2006. As soon as they saw each other they clicked. The following day Maria and Pedro hung out and than soon after started to date.
How we got engaged

Well we had been together for 6 months and so very much in love..... Than Christmas Eve came and Pedro and I were sitting in my parents living room opening gifts when I got to my last one and just as I opened it Pedro took it from my hands and got on one knee and asked me to marry him. And the rest is History! |
