Three years ago, neither one of us would have believed that we would be where we are today and getting married! Back then, Adam was an Assistant Manager and I was just an Overnight Associate at the Wal-Mart in Clarion and in completely different worlds.  On December 18, 2010, I found out that Adam had been promoted and took a position as Co-Manager at the Elm Street Wal-Mart here in Erie.  A friend gave me his number and I went out on a limb and sent him a message.  I was shocked when he text me back the next day.  A week later it was Christmas Eve and we talked for over 1 1/2 hours while we were both on our way home.  Really, I knew that night, that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.  Really from that night, it's all history.  Adam proposed when we were on vacation and when I look back at that moment, it still feels like a dream. We both have given everything we have to this relationship and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. We have already been through a lot and we both know that we can make it through anything as long as we have each other.  That's our story in a nut shell, so here's to a love that will last the rest of our lives and being able to share that love with all of you!

So, the truth is, the idea of our wedding has changed numerous times, but what we are planning now, is the final plan.  Originally it started off as eloping to Las Vegas with just a a couple of people there for each of us.  From there it became a wedding at a Sandals Resort or on a beach with just four family members there for each of us and from there, getting married with the JP and just one witness there for both of us.  That brings us to now.  We are having a very small, intimate wedding with just immediate family.  It will be held in one of my favorite spots (Wendy and Jim's front yard) and only parents, step-parents and all siblings will be there.  After a lot of thought and processing, this is what has been decided and I think that it is the perfect plan for the wedding and we look forward to being able to share in that joy with our parents and siblings.

From the very beginning, we wanted to have a picnic style reception and that is exactly what we are going to do.  We are doing it our way and doing what makes us happy.  There will be deep-fried turkeys, sub platters, different picnic salads and all sorts of goodies.  Because we are not normal people, we did not want a normal wedding cake. Seriously, who wants cake by the end of the reception and who wants to take all of that home!? Befitting to our style and personalities, we are going to have a very yummy cheesecake for us to cut into instead of the traditional cake.  We are not having traditional cake of any kind, so if that's what you're looking for, you will just have to bring your own! :-) We just want to have a fun picnic to share our happy day with extended family and a few close friends! Hopefully you will all be able to join us!

For both of us, our honeymoon is the most important part of this whole experience.  We don't always have a lot of time together, just the two of us, so it will be wonderful to have that time together. Our honeymoon will be spent at a Sandals resort, and it will be so nice to enjoy some sunshine and new experiences while starting this new chapter in our lives.  That brings us to this Honeymoon Registry.  In all honesty, we just combined two complete households into one and there was no point in doing a wedding registry when there is nothing that we need.  Through this registry, you are all able to make our honeymoon even more special and exciting.  There are some gifts in our registry that are a little more extravagant and pricey, but there are also a couple of gifts where you can choose how much you want to give from $25 and up.  Thank you so much for coming and checking out our registry and we look forward to seeing you all on our special day! :-)
