Welcome
Welcome
Welcome

We have known each other since junior high school. Although we didn't know each other that well, we definetly knew of each other. Promoting to high school, all of our friends started hanging out more. As sophmore year approached, we caught each others attention. With Tyler being the 'bad boy' and driving fun cars and I being the 'good girl' on the drill team, no one would have thought we would have been a match. December 31st, 2003, Tyler and I were hanging out at a friend's house down the street from his house. We were watching a comedy by Carrot Top and Tyler had asked me if I was thirsty. We ended up walking to his house, holding hands, and it was almost midnight for New Years. We walked through the kitchen and Mikey and Mario had big smiles on their faces. We walked into the garage to grab a 7up and he had a rose in the refrigerator. He grabs the rose and asks me to be his girlfriend right when it turned midnight! How dang cute is that?! From there, high school went on, we moved on but quickly 2 years later, we had tried it again. And boy are we excited that we did! We have been through ups and downs, as any couple has, but none-the-less, we have made it through together while climbing mountain after mountain, still holding hands like the first walk we took.

In 2015, Tyler and I had been dating for 9 years. We had decided that for our anniversary we would just jump in the truck and drive to the coast for the weekend... Or so I thought ;)

It was a beautiful evening on July 31st, 2015, heading up to Mendocino. We had been taking in all the views and jammin' out to the radio. I had noticed that as the sun was going down, Tyler had started driving faster and with a slight panic in his voice. I asked him if everything was okay and he had responded with "There is this really cool spot that my co-worker told me about but you have to be there when the sun sets." I told him that we could see it the next night but he was very anxious about seeing it that night. As we make a few curvy turns and the sun was completely gone, we pull into this driveway of a cabin. Tyler says "Surprise! I rented us a cabin for the weekend! We will have to see the sunset tomorrow.". In aw and amazement that he was able to pull this off so well, we jumped out and quickly ran inside to check out our home for the weekend. We ended up taking a 30 minute drive into town and buying steaks and veggies for dinner to cook at the cabin. Such a great evening!

We woke up saturday to the most beatiful view of the ocean. The deck was wide and long and as you walked out to the edge of the deck, it was also the edge of a cliff. We had 10 acres to ourselves with no neighbors, just the sounds of the waves crashing against the cliff. We even had a little tree house to the left that had a bench with another great view. We took a drive to Fort Bragg, shopped through a small flea market, had a beer at a bar of course and went to Glass Beach. We also stopped at a small cafe at a marina to taste the local seafood. YUM! It was decided to stop by a grocery store for food to cook at the cabin and grab a deck of cards to play joker :) A popular family game with the Vossen's.

We arrive back at the cabin by 2pm and I start setting up the deck with chairs, ice chest for beers and a table for cards. As I was taking in the view of the coast and breathing in the coastal air, Tyler approached me. He begins to tell me how much he loves me and how much I meant to him. He stated that he wished he could wait for the sunset but that he was too excited. He kneeled down on one knee and asked me the most beatiful question of all time. WILL YOU MARRY ME?!

We have chose the best wedding party anyone could ask for!!!
