So we started getting RSVP cards back and we are getting excited! 

A month and 2 weeks countdown! :)

Both weekends are planned back to back! We both are looking foreward to spending some much needed time with our friends and family "living it up" before the wedding! We both are VERY excited to see what our separate weekends bring! ;)

My bridal shower was thrown by my maid of honor (my sister Danielle) and my my mother (Erin) and was absolutly amazing! It was Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter tea party) themed! So everyone wore pretty tea party dresses and funky hats!

All i can say was thank you to everyone who participated in my special day!

The engagement party was one to remember. All of our friends and family that could make it were there to celebrate Shad and I. There was music, drinking, a taco man and a whole lot of fun!

So the story of how Shad proposed is that we were on our way to my family reunion at the hotel where grandpa Rick's boat was docked. Driving down, Shad decided to be romantic and stop at the first place he kissed me. We were sittingn in the car looking through his sunroof at the stars and he leaned over to give me a hug and I said "get out of the car and give me a real hug!" (later Shad told me that he had no idea how to get me out of the car so he was so happy i was so bossy). 

There we were standing in eachother's arms under the stars and he kept repeating "so this is where it all started?"

I answered him "yes! this is where it all started!"

He said "oh look a shooting star" as he turned me around to look

He repeated once again "so this is where it all started" but then added... "so do you want to start it all over again but this time as my wife?"

I turned around to see him on one knee holding the light up ring box and i replied "no shit!?"

but then after said "YES! OF COURSE!"

He grabbed me and spun me around till we both got very dizzy! ;)
