Teddy and Juliana both grew up in Wesley Chapel, FL. They attended the same schools but didn't meet until August of 2009 when Juliana got a job working at Michael's Craft Store.

Teddy had already been working there awhile. They met in the break room one day and Teddy made fun of the way she talked with her new retainer. She thought he was handsome and he though she was beautiful. Juliana asked HIM on a date and that’s how he knew she was the one.

She snuck out of the house almost every night for several months (much like Romeo & Juliet!) to spend time with him and spent every weekend at his apartment.

They became inseperable and shortly after, moved in together and started their own business!

Juliana already had a pretty ring that she wore on her left hand. When Teddy decided to make his big move, he left the engagement ring in their second bathroom (where she would occasionally get ready) with a note that said "I thought you could use a new one!". For about 3 days he kept hinting for her to "get him something from the other bathroom" or "go get ready in that bathroom". For whatever reason, she didn't use that bathroom for days. He moved the ring around the house, hoping she would see it. She never did! Teddy became very nervous, thinking she had already seen it and was avoiding his proposal. On her 19th birthday, they were getting ready to leave for dinner with her family. She was waiting patiently at the bottom of the stairs for him to finish getting ready.

He leaned over the banaster and asked "Hey, does this even fit?"

"What are you talking about?" (She got very excited, thinking he bought her a nice pair of shoes or something...)

"Catch!" He said, and there was a clinking noise on the tile.

"Are you throwing coins at me?!" (She was so confused!)

"Look for it, it's important!" He joked, then casually walked back into the bedroom to finish getting ready.

She searched for what he had thrown until something beautiful and sparkly caught her eye... THE ENGAGEMENT RING! She shrieked and ran upstairs where he was hiding behind a corner to see her reaction.

It was the best birthday present she has gotten to date. And of course, she said 'yes!' :)
