Our story could have started in 1988, but Jeremy required a few more years and Facebook. Ellen only needed a friend request. Generally, Ellen refused those she didn't remember, and despite photos from other high school friends, still didn't remember Jeremy Pollreisz. This time, she made an exception.

We chatted for a while but we were in different places in life, content to simply be acquaintances.

Our Facebook friendship remained so until after Ellen returned to Missouri. In the August of 2010, Jeremy and Ellen had their first date on a Putt Putt course.

After a year and half of correcting each others' grammar, incredible conversations, and movie genre battles, Jeremy asked Ellen to marry him and join him and his two children, Gavin and Chloe, as a family.

In a simple, second ceremony for both of us, we will commit our lives to each other among family and friends on January 18, 2013.

We chose January 18th because our relationship took a transformative turn on this date and it is very special to us. Though many will not be able to attend in person, we know that your hearts and thoughts will be with us.

We have registered with Honeymoonwishes.com for a couple of reasons. Neither of us had a real honeymoon with our first marriages and thought this was an excellent alternative for friends and family wanting to give us gifts in celebration.

Secondly, as adults we have most of the traditional gifts already!
