It all started in a romantic land we call dodge ball. I walked in, no more than 30 seconds later I noticed a handsome fella wearing pinstriped white shorts and a green element shirt. Meanwhile I was wearing camo shorts and a black shirt. Okay so it wasn’t exactly what you would call a romantic scene, but it was the beginning of our fairytale. One throw of a dodge ball with a wave and a glance and I’ve been hooked ever since. I knew from that moment that Derick was what I wanted in life. This is just the start of a very long epic love story. With God as the head of the beautiful family we have created not only will we survive, but we will thrive. There are ups and downs and the road will get bumpy, but the one thing we can always count on is that we will get through anything together.
