Although Tyler and Lauren grew up only a couple miles away from eachother in Vancouver and Camas, Washington, they first met in a political science class at Gonzaga University in January of 2009. It was the first day of classes and although Tyler would like to take the credit, it was Lauren who initiated their first conversation. Their first date was that February and they spent the next two years together at school and one year traveling between Portland and Spokane. On April 25th, 2012, Tyler had the ultimate surprise for Lauren and proposed on his birthday in front of their families. It was a very special day and Lauren and Tyler can't wait to share their next big day with their family and friends!!

Feel free to hop on the Portland Street Car to make the short trip between the venues, we know we will!

We would like to thank all of our family and friends for the love and support you have shown us throughout the years. You have made such a tremendous impact in our lives, and we are honored to share the beginning of our new life together with all of you. We are thrilled to be spending our honeymoon in Hawaii, both on Maui and Oahu. As you will see in our honeymoon registry, we are planning a number of exciting activities while on the Islands!
