The proposal happened in Chicago on my very own birthday trip. We took the train from InIndianapolis to Chicago for a weekend trip. I haven't been to Chicago since high school ( 14 years ) so was overly thrilled to have Christian show me the city. We started the day at The Shedd Aquarium were we spent the majority of our day. We were having a blast looking at all the exhibits.  As we were leaving the aquarium,  Christian suggested that we go down to the lake front and take a picture. As we were walking down to the waters edge, he grabbed my hand and dropped down to one knee.  It was there in the snowy winterland where he popped the big question. With the snow falling from the sky, I bursted out in tears of joy and said yes. I will never forget that day or feeling for the rest of my life.
