Chantal was born in Long Beach, CA but has lived in Chicago and Toronto before settling in Quebec City with her now-fiance, Sylvestre. 

Sylvestre was born in Betsiamites, QC before leaving at the age of 16 to Quebec City to start college. At the age of 18, he joined the Canadian infantry, the Royal 22nd Regiment, and has been in the army ever since. 

His passion is for culinary cuisine however. He is an excellent cook and connaisseur of fine wine and food.
