FYF festival.. don't ask what FYF stands for.

Our first weekend away from Zoey and I was a wreck. Crying all of the time. I needed this festival to help keep my mind occupied. Saturday we woke up to get ready for day 2 of the festival and Kaz was the most suspect person ever, all the way to LA and then some. All the little queues I was noticing...but not enough for me to question him or overthink and blow up like a normal crazy girlfriend would. We were enjoying our day at the rooftop pool..went back to our room to get ready. He asked me to take a pic, I turned around and there he was on his knee. How dare he propose right before we are going out so my make up can just smear all over. I must say it was a complete suprise.

So we had planned to attend a music festival in LA, FYF in July for a while, tickets bought and everything. That same weekend our princess was leaving us for the first time for two days. So I decided, this is it. This is gonna be the weekend to do it. I had been ring shopping for months, and finally found the one that felt right. Booked a nice room in DTLA, had a rooftop pool, sunny skies were a gaurantee, this is it. So day two of the festival we get down to the hotel, and we couldnt check in due to system errors. Of course, what's proposal day without some hiccups. So they gave us some drink vouchers, I heard "liquid courage vouchers" and we waited. Finally we get in to the room, change, I get the GoPro ready to catch it all. Ring is in my pocket, we head upstairs and it begins. We settle in, I set up the GoPro and delay/overthink maybe a little. Was not planning on this many people around, but whatever it is time. Just as I build up the nerves to ask the question, security comes and tells me there's no recording up there and I had to put it away. Well Damn! I mean thanks because I was so nervous, but thats what I had planned. No plan B, I start thinking what to do next. We head back to the room to get ready to leave for the concert, and I said its now or never. Waited for her to come out the other room in the hotel and went for it. Felt like I was on my knee for forever. I blacked out, have no clue what I said or did. But she said YES! Now here we are, ready to make it official and I couldn't be happier.
