The following is my (Jim's) account (though she may dispute some of it, lol):

"We met on Match.com (little fact you may not all know) on February 7th, 2014.

When I first reached out to Dani on Match, she says that she thought I was someone she had already turned down coming back with a fake profile.  I didn't have a photo because of my line of work and not wanting any of my patients finding me on the site.

Through a series of messages (in which she used every excuse in the book not to go out with me), I was able to send her a photo and she was immediately awed by my good looks (my fantasy, so don't ruin it...lol)

She has said that the first time we spoke on the phone she was mesmorized by my voice, calling it "butter".  We would talk for hours.

Eventually, we started doing FaceTime (gotta love all this technology), and we had our first date on February 14th.  She ended that first date with what I jokingly tell her was a "grandma" peck.  I wasn't sure she was really into me.

Our second date (the next day) went great as we got lost going to Dave & Busters and she kicked my butt in every game we played.  I was so distracted by her charm and beauty that night that I left my credit card TWICE.  However, again, all I got was a "grandma" peck.

Third date, third day.  I cooked her dinner and apparently that won her over because there was no "grandma" peck that night (Booyah!).  We started spending all our time together.

About 2 months in, we were at the mall shopping and decided to have some ice cream.  She looked at me and said "Where do you see us in 6 months?...I want to be married again someday and don't want to waste my time."  Now that's posture (some of our friends will get this).

Not long after that, she had come to see me and as she was leaving in her car, said those words...you know the ones..."I love you".  She embarrassingly rolled up her car window and sped off.  I called her to ask her what she said (knowing full well what she had said, lol) and she could hardly talk to me.  I reassured her that I felt the same way."

Well, that sealed the deal and we have had an amazing journey since.

We have grown so much as individuals and as a couple because of our love and respect for each other.

We are so blessed.  Together we have 7 adult children and 2 granddaughters, and dozens of amazing friends.

Our journey together has only just begun.  We invite you all along for the ride!
