Let me first start by saying, we are happy to hear that so many people will be joining us! We have had many people ask us what they should wear to the wedding. Nothing is totally off the table but I will give you some ideas. 

The bride, bridesmaids, mothers, and many women attending will be wearing cowboy boots with dresses. Some people have traditional boots and some have bling! If you are not planning to wear boots, flats will also work because we are outside and heels might not be comfortable. 

Most men in the wedding party are are wearing boots, dress slacks or jeans, dress shirtss with ties, and an optional sports jacket. Texas tuxedos are welcome and will be the norm. 

Although our wedding is at a ranch, it will be an elegant event so please dress accordingly. 

We want to make your trip to the Vidaurri family ranch, Rancho Lolita, as easy as possible. There will be signs for Kate & Mike leading you in the right direction throughout the trip. 

If you are coming from Corpus Christi, take Weber Road (FM 665W) south. 

Once you get to Bishop, turn left onto US77 South at the Valero. 

Take the King Avenue/Kennedy exit towards A&M Univeristy-Kingsville and turn right onto King Avenue. 

Continue onto FM 2295 West towards Benevides. You will pass 281 and continue straight. 

When you reach the 4 way stop, (you will see the Gonzalitos store on your right) turn left toward Falfurrias and continue for 6 miles. 

Turn right onto FM210 and follow the signs to Rancho Lolita. 

 

Rancho Lolita is located in Rios, Texas about 20 minutes from Kingsville. We blocked off rooms at the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn located in Kingsville but reservations must be made a month ahead of time. Shuttles will be available to drive people to and from the wedding so you will not have to drive.
