Bride

I already knew that I wanted to marry this woman and I was in the process of having the rings custom made, but how on earth was I going to ask her? Well, I first needed to obtain permission from her parents to do what I wanted to do so badly. Elizeth has an extremely traditional family which I respect very much and wanted to ensure I had their full support.

I had asked her father (Eliseo Leon) if we could have dinner without Elizeth. He was immediately taken off guard and really didn't want to give me an answer with out knowing what the dinner was about. So I explained the situation and how I may be taking a job in another state and I wanted to let his daughter know that I am not leaving her, even if I am across the country. He accepted and the dinner was on.

Both families came together as I asked her mother, father, and brother for her hand at the special dinner that I had arranged. I offered them a basket filled with fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, and gourmet foods to show that I will in fact, be able to provide for their beautiful daughter. I presented the family with the custom rings and after some discussion, they agreed to accept me as one of their very own.

Groom

After obtaining the green light from the fam bam, we all agreed of having an extra special proposal where the whole family could be a part of the momentous occasion. We ultimately decided on Disneyland. I mean it's the "Happiest Place on Earth" right, why not make it a bit happier? My family arrived early so I could find the perfect spot. Once I found the spot, I quietly told everyone to be in the vicinity at approximately 6pm. At 5pm, Elizeth and broke away from the others so they could assume their "Paparazzi-like" positions. At 6pm, I walked her to the "Wishing Well" at Snow White's Grotto just the the right of Cinderella Castle, got down on one knee and said the words that I had been wanting to say for quite some time, "will you marry me?" It wasn't as easy as it sounds, I had some trouble getting the ring out of my pocket which was a bit embarrassing but who cares, she said yes! I took out a coin, the both of us threw it in the well and that was the beginning of our new chapter.
