So obviously you've discovered that we are getting married! First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and check out our wedding page! Neither Ben nor I are much into this social media thing (please excuse our ineptitudes), but we thought it would be a great way to involve our friends and family who are spread out over multiple countries on different continents. We are going to make the attempt to update this with pictures, information, stories, and other tidbits so that hopefully everyone feels involved!

I think it was the day after Ben proposed that I started talking about wedding plans (too bad I hadn’t actually started working on the wedding then) and we decided that we wanted a small wedding. Both of us had been to weddings lately where you go to celebrate these two people getting married, but you hardly get the chance to say 3 words to the bride or groom beyond “Congratulations!” or “You look wonderful”. We didn’t want that. We also thought that since both of our families were spread across multiple continents, that maybe we could pick a different location to get married in, something beautiful and different. So after much discussion, planning, and traveling, talking with my family and his, plotting and probably stressing about it more than we should, we decided on our wedding.
On May 11th, 2017, Ben and I will get married at a small hotel in beautiful Sedona, AZ, surrounded by 30 of our closest friends and family. We’ll get to spend a couple of days enjoy the area before heading back to the craziness that is our business, but we hope it will be wonderful.
But by limiting it to only 30 guests, please do not feel like you are being left out. Like I said earlier, the larger the wedding, the more people to talk to, and the less we think we’ll get to say to any one person. It seems like a waste. If you want to celebrate with us, lovely! Let’s plan something where we can actually go celebrate! Spend time with us, rather than travel to a wedding where we will hardly see you. And if you aren’t local, we love traveling, and would love to come visit!
