Dinner will be casual BBQ served up buffet style.

Following dinner, we hope you will join us for some fancy dancing! After Alison and Evan share their first dance as a married couple, we hope you will join us on the dance floor. Our DJ is Shawn Hurd, he comes highly recommended and has promised to keep the party going all night.

We are very excited to have more friends join us for the party portion of the evening. We can't wait to see you there! We are looking into a fun idea as a guest book alternative, and hope that you will take a minute to sign it regardless of whether you have celebrating with us all day or have come to join the party later in the evening. 

We also will have a separate kids area during the reception that will be run by two young women, Miller and Lindsay. Miller often babysits Henry, and he adores her! Miller and Lindsay will have an area set up with kid friendly snacks, drinks, lots of crafts and games, and if we can swing it, there will be a movie set up with a crash pad for the little ones who need to catch a few Zzzz's. If we have invited your kids to join us, please make sure we know their names and ages so we can gear activities for them specifically. 

After you have burned off some serious calories on the dance floor, there will be some food later on in the evening to keep everyone going. It's a surprise, you will have to wait and see, but we promise something different than sandwiches and veggie trays. 

We will not be doing the traditional bouquet/garter toss. Instead we will be looking to give flowers to the couple who has been married the longest, and asking them to impart some marriage wisdom on us.

We will be leaving directly from the reception to head to Toronto, as their flight to Florida leaves Sunday morning. We have splurged for a limo for the occassion! We have a fun send-off planned and hope you will be a part of it. We plan to leave around 11:30 PM.
