While little girls often imagined their wedding day, I grew up thinking about the magical adventures I could have in the future. I imagined camping and road triping across the US, exploring the world, and discovering the world through its different flavours and cultures. There have been times that I dismissed these thoughs as just fantasies, like the magical stories I used to read as a kid, but it turns out, however, that I found myself a partner who loves the same things I do. I have found someone crazy enough to go on a one day trip to Yosemite National park to enjoy beautiful hikes, someone who enjoys sitting next to me on the sofa reading Harry Potter for the 10th time, and someone who will feed me at the correct time to avoid my "hangry" self. Now I know that just like in the bedtime stories I used to hear, there is an amaizing adventure waiting for me in the future, and I feel blessed that it will be with Raja that I get to undertake it. |
