We recommend the following for your hotel, airfare, etc. These recommendations come from an extensive search for pricing, fees, and proximity to the wedding, reception, and after-party celebration.
AIRFARE
Soutwest Airlines - There are airlines out there with lower airfare, but the baggage fees typically raise the price above that of Soutwest's (which offers 1 carry on and two checked bags for free).
The lowest fares seem to be for those who choose to fly out early Friday Morning, and back on Monday afternoon/evening.
HOTELS
Golden Gate Hotel and Casino - Many of the wedding festivities will be happening in Downtown Las Vegas on/near Fremont St. We recommend booking your stay at the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino. It is part of the Fremont St. Expierence (where we will be going for our post-reception celebration) and has the lowest per night charges. Please be aware there is a $22.50 resort fee for each night that is payable upon checkin.
If you choose to book directly through the hotel you can use the discount code GVLV16. It will provide you a rate around $89 for Friday and Saturday and $39 for Sunday (this price INCLUDES the $22 resort fee!). This isn't a group code for our wedding... There is an event happening that weekend and it is the event's group code (sneaky sneaky...but seriously the hotel told me to have all of you do that)
Please call 1-800-426-1906 and provide them with the code GVLV16 for the discounted rate
*WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT GOLDEN GATE IS ALMOST FULLY BOOKED - PLEASE SEE INFORMATION ON THE D BELOW*
The D Hotel and Casino - For those who find the Golden Gate to be booked (they are filling up fast!) you can also get a discount at The D hotel, which is right by the Golden Gate.
Please visit their website or call the hotel directly and provide them with the code DVLV16 for the discounted rate
RENTAL CARS
Priceline.com - While cabs and Uber is an option, some of our guests may be staying additional days or want to explore the city in the morning/afternoon before the wedding. In this instance we strongly recommend Priceline.com.
Currently, you can rent a small economy size vehicle for less than $100 for the weekend.
