|   |  | The night the stars aligned and changed both our lives forever. For it was on this night the lord connected our souls together forever.
We met the old fashioned way....at a bar! ;) but our meeting was entirely by accident and caught us both by surprise.
Ray was celebrating his birthday in downtown Las Vegas with his buddies and his roommate Clark met with a girl he was talking to on an online dating site.
Amy was visiting Vegas for a cousin’s weekend and her cousin Char invited her out to a bar with a few of her friends, excited because she was going to meet Clark for the first time.
When Clark and Char first met, it was about as awkward as could be. To break the ice, Ray introduced himself to Amy in attempt to make it easier for both groups to start talking. Instantly Ray and Amy had a lot fun talking to each other and they quickly became “wingman” and “wingwoman” for his buddy Jorge and Char. After 3 hours of drinking, dancing and having one of the best night’s ever, Amy called an Uber and headed home with Char....without her and Ray ever exchanging numbers.
After flying back home the next day, Amy spent the next 2 week’s cyberstalking Ray trying to find him online. With weeks of no luck, she eventually found out Char and Jorge had been dating, which helped her find Ray on Facebook. Wasting no time, Amy reached out to Ray to say thanks for a fun night and the from that moment on the two of them never looked back. After a year of basically living together over FaceTime and video chat, Ray moved to California to be with Amy and the kids just as soon as he retired from the military.
Since they began dating long distance they faced major challenges to be together and have overcome them all, showing them their love is stronger than any challenges that may come their way.
