My best friend Jennifer Erickson had planned a big 30th birthday cruise for Josh's cousin Jacob Thrall and about 20 of us ended up going. On the last night of the cruise we all finally made it to dinner together at the same time.

Out of nowhere Josh dings on his glass of water and I look around thinking ''oh how nice of him to thank everyone for coming to Jake's birthday". Imagine my surprise when I turn back and he's kneeling on the the ground. Needless to say I was very surprised and said a very funny phrase which ended in are you kidding me? Of course I said yes as we shed some tears of happiness.

The best part was when we returned to our room the attendant had shaped our towels into a big heart :). I then had to call my mom and tell her the amazing news!! Which apparently everyone else including my dad and brothers already knew was going to happen. And then the planning began!!

The day started with us watching the 49er game with the ring in my pocket. Wanting to ask the question all day, I waited until dinner when we would all be together.

Once dinner started and we had ordered our drinks, I couldn't wait any longer, so I tapped my glass to make announcement and got down on one knee. Everyone at the table knew I was going to ask except for Ashleigh, so it made it that much more surprising for her.

 I believe she had a mouth full of bread right at that moment but that didn't stop her from answering. And of course she said yes!
