On Sunday, June 24, 2012 we just got home from the girls' soccer game and Brian and the kids started acting weird. I was on the phone with my mom and I remember telling her I had to go because the kids and Brian were acting really weird. I noticed the girls following Brian around everywhere he went. He had a pair of under armour shorts on and Kadyn goes "Mommy don't worry about whats in Brian's pocket, it's just his wallet". Nate had his friend Carson over and they kept looking over the balcony at me in the kitchen and laughing and smiling. I asked what they were doing and why they were both such dorks, and they just said nothing we are spying on the adults. I remember Brian pacing back and forth and he went in the garage, back in the house, in the garage and back in the house about 5 times. I finally get off the phone with my mom and the girls are looking at me and smiling. Ohh, and back up a few minutes, the girls had changed their clothes to put dresses on. See all the weirdness happening around me!!! I hang up the phone and I was sitting at the kitchen table and Brian was behind me and he reaches around my shoulder with an open box with a ring and said those amazing words, "Nichole will you marry me?" I think my response was, "Oh my god, are you serious?" I asked that about 10 times before finally saying yes. If you ask him, he swears I never said yes...but I did!!! Now this was not his plan, but for those of you who know me, I am great at ruining surprises!! He had it planned out to happen on July 6th when we went out to his Uncle's house to shot guns. My mom told him if that ring is in the house I will find it and he better do it soon because I was looking for the ring!! His proposal was PERFECT!! All three kids were there and he completely caught me off guard. On October 11, 2013 I get to marry my best friend!!
