The day we got engaged I was completely blown away by surprise. We went wine tasting in Temecula like we had done many times before. At the last winery we went to, Chris had the idea to walk through the vineyards and take pictures. On our walk, I noticed a notebook sitting by a tree. Chris must have known I would be nosey because I picked it up and started reading it just like he had anticipated I would. There was a love story in the notebook about a couple named Noah and Ally- our favorite characters from The Notebook, the novel. I quickly realized that although it had the names Noah and Ally, it was actually our story-love lost and found. As I read the last few pages I started tearing up. I will never forget the moment I read the last sentence that read, "He had something important to ask her". I turned around and Chris kneeled down and then asked me to marry him. I said yes and as we hugged and kissed I heard all this cheering up where the winery was. I realized that Chris had all of our family to witness the whole proposal. It was a very special day for us and it was just that much more amazing to share it with our loved ones.
