The proposal was mirrored after one of our favorite shows The Office. It could not have been anymore perfect and blindsided me more. On our way back from a great trip to Virginia Beach, after a very difficult holiday, Stu decided it would be a great idea to go to Foxwoods.  To say the least and to keep it short I was not quite as easy going with this idea.  The trip from New Jersey to the Conn. was quite a treat as I huffed and puffed. Once in Conn. I finally accepted I was on my way to Foxwoods no matter what I said. To add fuel to my fire once in Conn. we made two stops, one after another.  At the second stop Stu asked me if I wanted to go in with him.  I said no and perhaps mumbled several other things to myself :) . I sat in the car texting one of my friends how I am currently being dragged to Foxwoods for no apparent good reason.  Stu returned knocking on my window saying he had to show me something "cool" inside.  All I could think was "what could be cool at a flipping rest stop?" I went inside with him and he showed me an automatic artificial sweetener dispenser. My reaction was one of not being amused (It was really cool though). We went outside, right in front of the door which looked just like the picture to the left and after a couple of words he dropped to one knee and recreated our favorite TV couples proposal.  It was perfect.  After saying yes I made sure we still weren't on the way to Foxwoods anymore :)
