Despite numerous mutual friends and a high frequency of attendance at the same eating and drinking establishments, it took a few chance run-in's at CVS and randomly being stuck in traffic next to each other, for Cindy and Grant to finally say "huh, let's do something about this" (well, Grant said that at least).  

For even after they hung out a few times, officially, Cindy was still "skeptical" and neither one of them was really looking for a serious relationship.  That is until a few days later when Grant proposed for the first time: a proposal not for marriage, but rather for 90 days.  "Nothing serious, but let's just give it a go for 90 days.  We can walk away at anytime, no harm, no foul.  But let's just see what happens".  On day 89 Grant asked Cindy if she would be willing to go for another 90 and she said "What?! It's been 90 days already?!?"

Fast-forward a handful of years, a cross-country move, countless laughs and smiles, and there was a second proposal.  This one however, was for marriage, and it almost didn't happen.  In true Birdie fashion, although unknowingly, Cindy (and Jersey Girl the puppy) kept spoiling the plan.  Finally, and how they like to live their lives, Grant through out the plan, kept it casual, and spontaneously proposed by the fireplace, as the snow came down, and Jersey snored.

As word of the engagement spread, the overwhelming response from friends and family was "well it's ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!"  

So now, our dear friends and family, please come celebrate with us in Las Vegas, for as we all can agree; it'll be fun, it'll be unique, we'll probably be late, and most of it won't be planned at all...but hey, that's how we like it.   

And besides, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!

Grant & Cindy will be getting married at 

5:30PM

at The Grove Las Vegas

Wedding will begin at 5:30PM followed by the reception on-site until 11:00PM

The Bride and Groom have registered here at HoneymoonWishes and will also have a Card box at the reception for your congratulations and well wishes.

Attire is cocktail/resort wear.  Please no jeans.

We have reserved a room block at the Monte Carlo Hotel from Friday, March 14 - Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

We will be providing transportation to and from The Grove on the wedding day.  Please be sure to check the box on your RSVPs to ensure we secure enough shuttles as we will be going by that count.

Shuttles will be picking guests up in the front drive of Monte Carlo.  Time will be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the wedding date and will be posted here.  Please be prompt, if you miss the Shuttle a Taxi ride out to the venue could be VERY costly.

Shuttles will be picking up guests from the reception at 11:00PM and taking them back to The Monte Carlo.
