Can you say Surprise?!?
So there I was stuck in the hospital recovering from surgery knowing I wanted to ask Tiffany to marry me. I set the proposal date for September 20th. Being in the hospital not knowing when i would be released I did the only respectable thing and called her Dad and asked him to visit me. So in my hospital bed, high on meds, I asked for Tiffany's hand. I was groggy but I think he may have tried to talk me out of it. I'm kidding, I got his blessing and now had to plan.
I got home on Monday the 17th giving me 3 days to pull off my proposal surprise. I planned a party inviting our friends and family to witness. Thank you to all who rallied around and helped with food, drinks and a delicious cake.
The day was a blur for me and the closer 7pm got...with the house full of loved ones I was getting overwhelmed. I will admit that I called my parents to tell them and got so emotional I couldn't talk, I called back later and the same thing happened. (( I blame the pain meds ))
So it was time...I was positioned at the door ring in hand with a spotter behind me in case I passed out. Cameras ready and videos rolling....she walked in the door and ran out.
