Bride

Well, Brandon and I had discussed marriage, and had decided that we were going to get married sometime soon. We both wanted it, and couldn't wait for it to happen. I knew that he was going to propose, we had gone to look at rings previously, but just didnt know when it was going to happen. Brandon and I decided to take a late night picnic and fishing trip to Lake Ray Hubbard. The weather had started to get warm, and we couldn't wait to get out there! I remember it to a T. We had finished eating our picnic (subway, yum!) and Brandon had started getting his pole ready to fish....I had said something as a smart-elic remark about would you still love me if...well...Brandon turned around and said...Do you want me to tell you why I love you? And of course I was like, "yeah I do actually!!" I was kidding of course...But brandon (without me noticing) had pulled the ring from his tackle box, got on one knee, and said well I'll tell you why! He then told me how I was wonderful, and asked me to marry him...Lets just say it took me a minute to realize what had just happened, and I was more than happy to say yes!!

Well, she thought that I had only gone to make a payment, but I had actually gone to pick up the ring. I had to get my dad to distract Dez while I hid the ring in my tackle box. I lied to her the whole way to the lake, talking about how awesome it would have been to propose at the lake, if things would have gone to plan. So we walked down to the water, and ate, then I proceeded to get ready to "fish." She then asked me "what do you really love about me?", and set it up perfect for me. During this time, I had taken the ring out of the tackle box. I had a whole speech made up in my head beforehand, but I couldn't remember any of it! So I just winged it, and told her what I love about her, and how excited I was to spend the rest of my life with her. Then I asked her to marry me, and she said yes. And then I was so excited to tell everyone, that I forgot to actually fish.
