For Joseph's 50th birthday we decided to take a trip to Europe. We spent a week in Budapest, Hungary. Going there we had a layover in Rome, Italy and on the way back home we had a long layover in Paris, France. Although Joseph has been to Paris numerous times, it had been 10 yrs since his last trip there. This was my 1st time in Paris and I was eager to go see the Eiffel Tower. He made that dream come true! When we arrived, it was very foggy and we were only able to get to the 2nd level. It was cold, but it was still all so beautiful. We agreed to return in Spring or Fall to fully enjoy our trip. He showed me all around and once we were facing Le Senne, he popped the question! I was in shock and was soooo excited! I said yes and we kissed. I couldn't believe it! He's an amazing man and I'm looking forward to spending all of our days together. 

Everyone that knows me knows that it had to be something real. When Diane and I became a couple my family and friends couldn't believe how happy I was. Diane says I make her smile, but everyone knows that she is the one person that brings a smile to my face. She's very special to me and I wanted the proposal to be special as well. What better place than the Eiffel Tower?! I'm glad she said yes! She made me the happiest man alive.  I love that we can be silly together, as our picture above shows. That was taken right after she said YES! I love her and will continue to try and make her smile daily!
