On my birthday, Dan took me out for some shopping at one of my favorite places, Yankee Candle in South Deerfield, Ma, we browsed the busy flagship store, for an hour or so, then came across an awesome smelling candle called Island Sunset, Dan purchased the candle as a birthday present to me......then he took me out to my  birthday dinner at the Hill Top Steakhouse in Saugus, MA; It was delicious! He had Sirloin, and I had Filet Mignon...and I would recommend this place to anyone!!  After dinner we walked slowly to the car...and as we got in the car, he asked, would you want to go to Hampton Beach? And I thought in my head "In the middle of December?" but said to him, "Sure, I'd like to see the beach in the winter" So, off we drove to Hampton, we arrived there about an hour and a half after we had left Saugus, Ma..... we parked our vehicle, and walked down the beach to the ocean, where I felt the icy cold water with my hands, and of course, Dan being Dan, dipped his finger in and tasted the water. At that point I was shiverring and asked that we make our way back to the vehicle. As we started walking back with him holding me tight as we walked, he suddenly let go, and for some reason I kept on walking, but after about 5 steps, realized he wasn't right next to me anymore, but he was standing still back where he had stopped. I walked back to him, where he got on one knee, and asked me to marry him!! I said yes, and the rest is history!!!!!
