Franklin and I met in 2006 I was single but not really looking for anyone to date, however I had a friend named Latonya and I told her I needed some extra work doing parties, so she suggested that I call her friend Franklin. So we called him and the moment I heard his deep voice I knew, I know this man already? So it turns out that I needed a bar bag made and he sold them so I met him one day and bought one. That was our first time actually meeting each other, then another friend of mine named Gary got me started with the same caterer that Franklin worked for, and after seeing each other at several events, he finally walks over to me and whispers in my ear and says "I would like to get to know any and everything there is to know about you" and he gave me his phone number and walked away!!!!! I was impressed that his was not pushy and his voice was like sillk and that was the first thing that attracted me to him. we talked on the phone almost everyday and finally talked about going out. Mother's Day was coming up and Franklin had expressed how hard Mother's Day was for him since he had lost his mom a few years before, he also had lost a sister with the same name as my oldest daughter Krystal that had also passed. It seemed we had alot in common. So I suggested that we go to see a play on Mother's Day as our first date to give him something to keep his mind off being sad. So that was our first date Mother's Day 2006. Here we are 8 years later planning our wedding day!!!
