I am sure if you asked either of us just about six years ago where we thought this relationship would go, our story would not have been the answer. At the age of 17 and 20, we were young people that had no idea where our relationship would go. Our love literally turned into a fairytale over the last couple years. From the moment we first started "dating", it was a matter of a month before we were both living under the same roof. From that day forward we have lived in a total of 7 houses, starting from an apartment and gradually growing into bigger homes each year. We constantly stuck by eachothers side, lived up our college lives a little crazy and right by eachothers side. Went on many dates, trips, family events, anniversaries, holidays, birthdays, and everything in between.

After 4 years of enjoying our lives alone, a life changing event happened. We will never forget that morning in 2014, when I took that test in our bathroom, that turned out positive. I ran over to the bed, jumped on it and said I am pregnant! I have never been able to wake Cedrick up that quickly any morning! We sat in bed, cuddled, and talked about what we were going to do. The room was filled with excitment and a little bit of fear. We knew we werent married and were very young, but we knew we could get through it and give our child the best life possible. Throughout the entire pregnancy we stuck by eachother. We had two baby showers, took pictures every week, went to every doctors appointment together, decorated CJ's room, awaited his arrival, and then sat by eachother in the hospital for 22 hours untill CJ finally made an appearance. It was that moment that we both knew we wanted to be a family that stuck together forever. It hasn't always been easy, raising a child is one of the hardest things a relationship can go through, but we manage to get through every obsticle that is thrown at us. We truly feel he was the best thing that ever happened to us, and we are thankful to be blessed with our family of three.

No matter what we are always by eachothers side, there for eachother, pushing eachother, and learning from mistakes. I don't think neither one of us have been more sure of what we wanted our future to look like untill we met eachother. Two years later, on mothers day eve in 2016 is when he proposed. Right in front of my sister and mother, because he knew I wanted them to be there. Now here we are, we look forward to the many years ahead that we have, and we are so excited to celebrate our special moment with our loved ones! Cheers to us and our family!
