Our Engagement Party was a great celebration. My parents hosted it at their house. The theme was a Black & White Cocktail Party. We rented tables and black and white chairs and set them up in the backyard. Each table was decorated with black and white vases and candles. The food was minature bites. We had mini quasadillas, vegetarian meatballs, pita with hummus, chips and salsa, mini yogurt and berry parfaits etc. My mom and I spent hours making decorations and setting up. My grandparents Dan and Darene came over early and helped with cooking and labeling the personalized water bottles :) It was a lovely evening to celebrate our engagement and of course Josephine was also a guest of honor she had on her white and black faux fur coat and pearls :)

I must say I am one lucky girl! I was given two bridal showers. The first one was given by Darrin's Aunt Chris at her beautiful home in San Francisco. The theme and decorations were perfect. There were lovely hydrangeas on all the tables. The food and company was great. It was nice to spend time with his side of the family and meet Robin's friends. I just had my second shower this past weekend. It was given by my lovely Aunt Lisa. Her backyard was setup with tables and seashells galore! She also had the best looking cupcakes I have ever seen. They were blue and white with chocolate seashells. I was so happy that so many people were able to attend. It was great seeing family and friends that I don't get to see that often. At both showers I received the most amazing gifts. I want to thank each and everyone of you that were able to come and celebrate with me. It means so much to me and I couldn't ask for a better family and group of friends. I can't wait to celebrate with you all again at the wedding. Cheers for more memories to come....
